If you are planning to visit Salina, in the Aeolian Islands, I suggest you to stay at SalinArte Bed and Breakfast. I chose it for my weekend in Salina. This is a nice and peaceful place where you can enjoy in perfect harmony with nature. It is the right place for families, couples and who want to to stay away from crowd. SalinArte is in the centre of Salina at Santa Maria Salina. It has a typical Aeolian character. There are white columns and blue windows and doors.
This family owned B&B has 5 rooms, 2 upstairs and 3 downstairs. The rooms are furnished and arranged with a great deal of attention to detail: materials, design elements such as the papier mâché sculptures made by the artisans of Cartura.
All the rooms have their own porch where you can relax. There is also a nice patio where breakfast is served every morning. The upstairs rooms have a terrace with a panoramic view overlooking the sea and Panarea Island.
NOTE: The prices are from 35€ up to 90€ per person, and are subject to variation according to period, number of people and number of nights.
The owner is a friendly and helpful woman who prepares a delicious breakfast each morning of fresh breads, jams, fruits, yogurt, juices and coffee. She has also another Bed and Breakfast in Vulcano Island (always in the Aeolian Islands) called Villa Il Glicine, which has the same style. I’ll talk about it soon 🙂 What are you waiting for visiting Salina?
